Terms and Conditions

Version 2026-07-24

1. Agreement

These terms govern use of Appitee’s website, mobile services, creator tools, business features, messaging, advertising and payment functions. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and the linked Privacy Policy, Cookie Agreement and Copyright Statement.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials and promptly report unauthorised access. New accounts are creators by default. Business status and staff privileges require the applicable request or approval. You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by Appitee’s breach.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use Appitee for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, hateful, dangerous, misleading or infringing activity; spam; harassment; malware; scraping that disrupts the service; unauthorised commercial messaging; or attempts to bypass security, moderation or access controls.

4. Content and food information

You remain responsible for content you publish. Recipes, ingredient information, allergens, nutrition, availability, distances, opening hours and prices may be supplied by users or businesses and can be incomplete or inaccurate. Appitee is not a medical, nutritional or food-safety adviser. Check labels, allergens, cooking temperatures and professional advice where needed.

5. Messages and business approaches

Messages are an in-app communication feature. Businesses may contact creators, but must not spam, pressure or mislead them. Users can block, mute and report accounts. Appitee may investigate abuse while respecting the privacy and security controls described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Businesses, sponsored campaigns and payments

Businesses are responsible for truthful listings, lawful promotions, prices, availability, destination websites and fulfilment. Sponsored posts are labelled and may be ranked through Appitee’s documented auction using bid, quality, relevance and pacing. Campaigns require payment through Stripe and staff approval before delivery. CPM, CPC and CPE charges are based on the metric definitions shown in the advertising dashboard. Appitee uses deduplication and invalid-traffic controls, but no online measurement system can guarantee that every event is observed or that every malicious event is detected. Displayed currency, refund status and campaign terms form part of the relevant transaction. Refunds remain subject to the campaign terms, applicable law and any non-refundable delivery already performed.

7. Moderation and availability

Appitee may review, restrict, remove or preserve content; limit posting; suspend or deactivate accounts; and cooperate with authorities where reasonably necessary. Automated or staff moderation does not guarantee that every issue will be detected. Features may change, be interrupted or be withdrawn.

8. Awards and rankings

Monthly awards may use verified engagement data and editorial selection. Appitee may exclude suspicious, self-generated or ineligible activity, correct errors, withdraw awards or change categories. Awards are recognition features, not endorsements or guarantees.

9. Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, Appitee is not responsible for user content, independent businesses, off-platform transactions, indirect losses, lost profits or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. Consumer rights remain unaffected.

10. Ending use and changes

You may stop using Appitee and request account deletion. Appitee may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breaches, legal risk or security reasons. We may update these terms and will publish a revised version date; material changes may require renewed acceptance.

11. Governing law

Insert the correct contracting entity and governing-law clause before launch. For UK consumers, mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring proceedings in their home jurisdiction are not displaced.
