1. Ownership
Appitee and its licensors own the platform software, branding, design and original platform materials. Users and businesses retain ownership of the recipes, photographs, videos, text and other content they submit, subject to the licence in the Terms and Conditions.
2. User licence to Appitee
By publishing content, you grant Appitee a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt for technical delivery, display, distribute and promote that content as needed to operate Appitee. The licence ends when content is deleted, except for cached copies, lawful retention, content shared by others and records required for disputes or compliance.
3. Your responsibilities
Only upload content you created or are authorised to use. Recipes may describe ideas or methods that are not themselves protected, but original wording, photography, video, illustrations and compilations can be protected. Do not remove attribution, watermarks or rights-management information.
4. Reporting infringement
Rights holders or authorised representatives can submit a copyright notice through the Appitee copyright form. Notices should identify the protected work, the disputed Appitee content, contact details, a good-faith statement, an accuracy declaration and an electronic signature.
5. Counter-notices and action
Appitee may restrict or remove content while a claim is reviewed and may notify the uploader. Eligible users may submit a counter-notice. Appitee may restore content where appropriate, preserve evidence, apply a legal hold, suspend repeat infringers or comply with court and regulatory requests.
